We are seeking a Business Transformation Manager to drive our efforts related to realizing our company’s strategic growth plan. In this role, you will engage with key leaders in the organization to support the development and delivery of our data and technology strategy for various Corporate, Commercial, Operational, and Process Optimization initiatives across each function of our business. You will be required to facilitate ideation and scope definition workshops, develop value propositions and business cases, and deliver functional roadmaps and project plans in close alignment with our organizational objectives.


  • The purpose of this position is to lead information technology consulting support, system integrations, and technical development for solutions within Nexeo's global applications portfolio.


  • The primary focus will be on developing and maintaining high quality, efficient, and reusable solutions that result in a low total cost of ownership for the company.


  • This is a highly technical position with primary functions to include collaboration with functional and technical groups to perform technical process and change designs for establishing best practices.


  • The position leads execution through multiple sources, including employees, contractors, outsource provider and consulting organizations, to complete tasks, such as system configuration, prototyping, unit/integrated testing and process documentation.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Drives business results through utilization of trending technology platforms


  • Develops and leads comprehensive digital & business innovation initiatives


  • Serves as the IT Business Partner for regional business leaders


  • Conceptualize and shape ideas into business cases


  • Maintain effective reporting frameworks and KPI monitoring mechanisms


  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses to help generate and refine ideas for initiatives and concepts that are in consideration    


  • Leverages data and analytics to deliver strategic initiatives


  • Ensures alignment of IT strategy to business strategy


  • Aligns projects with the Program Management Office’s governance requirements






Minimum knowledge required for the job


  • Bachelors degree, certificate, diploma gained through a college/university in Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study; MBA or Advanced Degree Preferred


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering projects and digital transformation initiatives


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and portfolio management


  • Business or Process domain expertise in Finance and Controlling Operations


  • Expertise in SAP ECC 6.0, and related SAP suite of products (SAP FICO)


  • SAP Finance & Controlling Process and Configuration Architect and design experience is critical. Knowledge of SAP Program Development a plus. 


  • Integration experience with other SAP ERP Modules, SAP TM and non-SAP connected applications is required.


  • Expertise in initiating, leading and managing technology-led change and technology adoption


  • Proven business transformation and change management delivery track record


  • Exhibits strong project management skills 


  • Fluent in English and able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization to ensure alignment on strategy and priorities. The person must demonstrate strong collaboration, interpersonal skills. 


  • Stays current with technology to objectively evaluate new and changing technology


  • Able to work independently and monitor progress on projects while communicating this progress to the rest of organization.


  • This individual must demonstrate the ability to effectively consult with global client groups to provide technical solutions, automation alternatives and organizational readiness activities to achieve sustained benefits.


  • This position drives execution through direct and indirect interaction across client and work groups.


  • Solves a wide range of highly complex, multi-disciplinary problems which must consider long-term company-wide planning
