IT Tech Manager – SAP order to Cash

 

The purpose of this position is to lead information technology consulting support, system integrations, and technical development for solutions within Nexeo's global applications with a primary focus on developing and maintaining high quality, efficient, and reusable solutions that result in a low total cost of ownership for the company. This is a highly technical position with primary functions to include collaboration with functional and technical groups to perform technical process and change designs for establishing best practices. The position leads execution through multiple sources, including employees, contractors, outsource provider and consulting organizations, to complete tasks, such as system configuration, prototyping, unit/integrated testing and process documentation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform tasks related to the day-to-day Global operations of SAP Order to Cash (OTC) processes and Configuration, including creation and troubleshooting of configuration, custom objects, queries and integrations.     
  • Provides technical consulting support to the global client group to identify, design, and implement an appropriate technical solution under commercial direction, primarily supporting SAP Order to Cash (OTC) processes and Configuration along with other non-SAP applications. The objective of this activity is to create value and streamline resources through optimal decisions.     
  • Leads process design activities with technical teams, under commercial direction, to enable achievement of client operating objectives, improved operational excellence and lower cost of operations for the enterprise.      
  • Responsible for the development/execution of all appropriate documentation, testing, technical design and management of change requirements. Additionally, the position is responsible for influencing continuous improvement in these areas. The objective of this activity is to ensure a consistent development methodology to achieve operational excellence and control requirements.     
  • Leads development activities within assigned areas including resource allocation, process requirements balance, and integration coordination across technical applications.     

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelors degree, certificate, diploma gained through a college/university in Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • 10 or more years experience demonstrated ability to effectively consult with global client groups to provide technical solutions, automation alternatives and organizational readiness activities to achieve sustained benefits.
  • Must demonstrate strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Previous experience driving execution through direct and indirect interaction across client and work groups.
  • Nice to have previous experience of SAP ECC (HEC) to S/4 HANA migration.
