Supervisor Procurement 

 

Responsibilities

  • Actively leads and develops a team of Materials Planners and Materials Planning Analysts
  • Manages team and individual performance through KPI’s and situational indicators
  • Guides team activities directly impacting material availability, working capital management, quality of inventory and cost
  • Facilitates issue resolution and escalation (tactical and strategic)
  • Ensures adherence to safety and compliance standards
  • Supports and encourages an environment of continuous improvement
  • Collaboration between internal/external partners to achieve common goals

     

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain (a combination of education and experience will be considered) 

  • 5+ years of Procurement/Purchasing experience 

  • 2-3 years supervisory experience 

  • Knowledge of SAP a plus 

  • Strong analytical skills required 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office package 

  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills 

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment 

  • Results Driven
