RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure an optimized finished goods (packaged) supply plan for North America based on the business demand and the capacity of the supply chain. Trading off between:
    • Stock availability
    • Inventory
    • Supply associated costs (Logistics, Production)
  • Reporting to the Supply Planning & Procurement Manager, lead the Production Planning team
  • Own the execution/implementation of:
    • Inventory Strategies and Policies defined together with the Network Planning and Inventory Analytics teams
    • A Rough-Cut Capacity Planning/constrained Production Plan (eg 4wk out) and release execution buckets (eg 1wk out) to the plants considering
      • Capacity (machine & manpower)
      • Raw material availability
    • A balanced demand supply horizon in the Rough-Cut Capacity Planning horizon by Discussing/Aligning
      • Demand with Customer Service
      • Supply with the site leads/schedulers
  • Work with the S&OP team to support the implementation of the S&OP/IBP process across the region (based on the standard Nexeo processes): Providing Supply/Inventory input into the Management Business Review (MBR)
  • Ensure coherence between our packaging supply chain capabilities and the expected service level to the market (SLA)
  • Facilitate the continuous improvement of
    • Packaged goods service level
    • Plants on time and in full
    • Plants Productivity
    • Inventory & Obsoletes
  • Act as the point of contact for any finished good supply related topic

 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Technical or Business field
  • Master's in Supply Chain would be plus

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Planning (Chemicals / FMCG packaging preferrable)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in S&OP and Inventory Management
  • Strong knowledge of DRP/Deployment/MPS/MRP/RCCP
  • Good End to End Supply Chain understanding
  • Strong SAP knowledge (PP and MM expert; SD awareness)
  • Advanced Supply Planning tools knowledge desirable
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge is desirable
  • Able to operate at regional level
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • English proficiency (Spanish knowledge would be a plus)
