  • Ensure an optimized materials supply plan for North America based on the business demand and the capacity of the supply chain. Trading off between:
    • Stock availability
    • Inventory
    • Supply associated costs (Logistics, Material)
  • Reporting to the Supply Planning & Procurement Manager, lead the Materials Planning team
  • Own the execution/implementation of:
    • Inventory Strategies and Policies defined together with the Network Planning and Inventory Analytics teams
    • A balanced demand supply horizon by Discussing/Aligning
      • Demand with Customer Service/Sales
      • Supply with PLM/suppliers
    • Owner of the Procurement and Deployment processes for externally procured materials
  • Work with the Sales & Operations (S&OP) team to support the implementation of the S&OP/IBP process across the region (based on established processes): Providing Supply/Inventory input into the Management Business Review (MBR)
  • Ensure coherence between our supply chain capabilities and the expected service level to the market (SLA)
  • For your corresponding pool of suppliers
    • Work with PLM on the relationship management
    • Steer the collaborative planning processes
  • Facilitate the continuous improvement of
    • Materials Availability
    • Customer Service
    • Materials Cost
    • Inventory & Obsoletes
  • Act as the point of contact for any material supply related topic


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Technical or Business field
  • Master in Supply Chain would be a plus 


  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in Supply Planning (Chemicals / FMCG packaging preferrable)
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in S&OP and Inventory Management
  • Strong knowledge of DRP/Deployment/MPS/MRP/RCCP
  • Good End to End Supply Chain understanding
  • Strong SAP knowledge (PP and MM expert; SD awareness)
  • Advanced Supply Planning tools knowledge (SAP APO SNP, JDA/Blueyonder Fulfillment) is desirable
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge is desirable
  • Able to operate at regional level
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • English proficiency (Spanish desirable)
