The Demand Planner supports the Sales and Operations Planning process through on-going management of demand plans and sales forecasts for the organization. The incumbent will manage the forecasts utilizing the INFOR demand planning software system, generating forecasts which are passed to SAP for execution on a weekly basis. The position requires significant interaction with all levels of the Sales organization as demand plans change significantly throughout the month resulting in daily updates to the planning system. The Demand Planner leads the discussion of the sales plan during monthly regional Sales and Operations Planning meetings. This role reports to the Sales and Operations Planning Manager for the Plastics Line of business.  




  • Management and validation of forecasts/demand plan  

  • Continuous management of forecasts to ensure data accuracy   

  • Leads discussion related to the sales forecasts during monthly Sales and Operations Planning meetings  

  • Prepares data for presentation in regional and executive Sales and Operations Planning meetings  

  • Supports Plastics Sales and Operations Planning manager as related to forecasting  

  • Ad-hoc analysis as required 



  • Bachelors Degree 
  • 3 to 5 years in a supply chain, sales, or product line management capacity
  • Experience related to sales planning or forecasting
  • Strong analytical capabilities
