E-commerce Solutions Specialist EMEA

Nexeo Plastics is a leading thermoplastics resin and compound distributor headquartered in The Woodlands, TX and with European Headquarters in Cornellà de Llobregat, Barcelona. As an e-Commerce Specialist representing our EMEA business, you will coordinate the design, integration and implementation of a new global ecommerce platform and implement strategies that make online transactions possible. You will organize, develop, and execute digital sales marketing plans. The role will play an integral part in the development of the long-term digital road map of the organization.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

• Good understanding of business process flows to integrate our new ecommerce platform with our other systems (ERP, Pricing, CRM, website).

• Ensure seamless customer journey experience fostering the move of existing customers from traditional channel to ecommerce

• Project Manager skills to coordinate with multiple departments involved (logistics, Customer Solutions, Quality, etc.)

• Coordinate with our North America organization on ecommerce design and implementation representing EMEA needs.

• Optimization of KPIs through initiatives impacting engagement, CTR and conversions.

• Monitoring analytics on digital initiatives results tracking, reporting, dashboards updating and data presentation, as well as long-term strategy definition for digital journey.

• Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.

• Work closely with different teams (product management, marketing, sales) to provide and maintain updated content that will be shared across e-Commerce platforms.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor Degree required; post-graduate digital marketing studies preferred.

• Experience supporting digital business growth initiatives preferably in a B2B environment.

 

Requirements:

 

• Proficient English skills

• Minimum of 2+ years experience in a fast-paced, e-Commerce business preferably in a B2B environment.

• Experience in integrated e-commerce implementation.

• Project Management skills.

• Knowledgeable of usability best practices.

• Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals.

• Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends.

• Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies that can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions.

• Familiarity with web design and a keen eye to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong process optimization mindset

• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

• Experience in digital marketing hubs use is a plus (Marketing Cloud)

• Integration of data with sales process and tools (SAP, Salesforce) preferred.

• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

• Monitor sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) to stay organized.
